Pendant Light. Friday , July 06th , 2018 - 10:50:43 AM
Pendants can be hung in pairs or in a chain-think of matte silver steel overhanging lights that are positioned above the line of a long kitchen island. It can be placed in clusters-you can put together a bunch of lanterns in varying sizes and colors, place them in a corner of a room, and you now have an elegant, luminous, gorgeous bouquet of light.
In hallways and other areas, it adds grace and striking style. The light and shadows cast by them is astounding. Hang them in an even row down the length of a hall for a classic look, or hang one by itself or in a cluster in a foyer. The length should fall between twelve and sixteen inches for a typical 8-foot ceiling, and eighteen to twenty-four for taller ceilings.
Please note that pendants hang physically and tend to occupy a larger diameter compared to the ceiling lights. So even if you have a ceiling light along the perimeter of your kitchen, installing the pendants using the same mount fixtures may not be easy. Hence if you desire such installation, getting professional help is suggested.
